Reward and recognition

Every month we allocate time and resources to bring teams together. We also recognise colleagues and teams for going the extra mile through our 'Making a Difference awards' initiative and recognition programmes.

Health and wellbeing

Colleagues have access to Mental Health First Aiders and programmes like Ability First, Able Futures and Headspace. We also hold regular initiatives to support physical and mental wellbeing.

Professional development

We offer mentorship and training throughout the year, and development opportunities at colleague conferences. We also have a dedicated programme for Continued Medical Education.

Colleague engagement

Through our dedicated colleague forums, annual engagement survey, all-colleague calls and internal social channel, we encourage two-way communication at all levels across our organisation to ensure your voice is always heard.

Inclusive culture

We have six colleague networks that represent, advocate for and champion our diverse workforce. They serve on our Inclusion and Diversity board and drive our inclusion and diversity strategy forward.

Impact and social value

Every year we raise thousands of pounds to support colleague-nominated charities through the Maximus Foundation UK. We also give colleagues time to volunteer with a local charity or community-based project of their choice.
